With the November election approaching rapidly, multiple AC Transit Board positions are up for for election, and who fills these positions play an influential role in the future of transit safety, rider equity, and green transportation in Alameda County in the coming years. So we hope you'll join Seamless Bay Area, East Bay Transit Riders Union, Transport Oakland, SPUR, BikeEastBay, Streets for People, and East Bay YIMBY for a candidate forum on September 13, 2022 at 6:00pm PST.

We will joined by Stewart Chen and Sarah Syed, who are running to represent AC Transit District Ward 3, which includes a large portion of southeast Oakland, as well as the entire city of Alameda and almost all of San Leandro. We will also be joined by Barisha Spriggs and Murphy McCalley, who are running to represent Ward 4. Ward 4 includes portions of Hayward and San Leandro as well as the unincorporated areas of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview and San Lorenzo in Alameda County.

This forum will give the public a chance to hear from AC Transit Board candidates and ask questions concerning their platform, experience, and approach. We hope to see you there!
