Volunteers at MAssachusetts Grassroots Information Center (MAGIC) want to help you get in gear for 2022. Save time, minimize confusion and simplify your activist life! Attend the April 9 training to learn why so many activists use Slack. With your own sign-in, you can cruise channels by topic, search for info, ask questions, and contact other volunteers directly. All without dealing with one-to-one emails and texts

What you'll learn in this class:

• Incorporate Slack into your email so that you don't have two information streams to manage
• Move conversations to Slack to avoid leaving members of your group out of the conversation.
• Learn how to use direct messages - avoiding the need to text someone
• Use Slack's directory features to easily look up email addresses
