End: Sunday, February 23, 2020 6:00 PM

Activist Afternoons is a way for all members of our community to gather and take action on the issues and elections we care about.

Thank you for being an awesome activist - we're inspiring others to take action!

Confirmed:

  • Swing Left Greater Boston will be sending postcards to Democrats in North Carolina that have been purged from the voter rolls telling them how to re-register.
  • Harvard for Bernie will be hosting a phonebank for Shahid Buttar, who is running against Nancy Pelosi in CA-12. Shahid is a muslim immigrant, human rights lawyer, anti-war activist, and democratic socialist running to replace Nancy Pelosi. Read Shahid's platform at https://shahidforchange.us/
  • Sister District MA-RI will be calling voters in Pennsylvania for Harold Hayes, who's running in a special election March 17 to flip one of nine seats Democrats need to win the PA House.
  • Swing Left Greater Boston will be calling voters with the Maine Dems to help oust Susan Collins and turn Maine blue! Please sign up in advance here.
  • Environmental Voter Project will be texting registered but inactive voters in key states. Please bring a smart phone and/or laptop. No experience necessary! EVP combined actions can bring 2% to 5% of these voters to the polls for the first time and make them regular voters who prioritize climate change and the environment.
  • Justice Democrats will be phonebanking for Jessica Cisneros, running for Congress in TX-28. Bring your phone and laptop. Folks who are bilingual in Spanish and English are especially encouraged to join!
  • CAST will be sending postcards to voters across the U.S. to get them to vote in special elections or sign up to vote by mail. Come join us help voters get involved! Contributions towards the cost of postage are appreciated.

Not Yet Confirmed:
