Event Descriptions:

  • MA TPS Committee will use laptops to enter data from organizers to help protect the 450,000+ current TPS holders and their families, as the fight for a path to permanent residency. From 4-5:45 we will take the sign in sheets letters and other contact information to data entry into a google form. Jose Palma of the National TPS Alliance will join us at the end of the action. He will share information on the national campaign and thank our volunteers.  Please bring a laptop and RSVP on the link here: http://bit.ly/tpsdataparty.
  • Swing Left Greater Boston will be sending postcards to people of color in Texas who have been purged from the voter rolls, telling them how to re-register.
  • Our Revolution Cambridge Will be hosting a Bernie "Organize Your Friends" activity where we'll make plans to mobilize our personal networks using the campaign’s official BERN App.
  • Bernie 2020 Organize Your Friends with a Bernie Victory Captain The campaign has asked us to change our event focus from a phone bank to Organize your Friends, because we are crushing our phone banking goals and we are shifting our strategy to preparing for Super Tuesday.

This is big big news. It means we're winning and are able to be more forward thinking in our strategizing. All you're going to need is your smart phone to download the Bern app. I will train you on how to use it to organize your friends. I'm hoping to take candids and a group photo at the end. here.
  • Justice Democrats will be phonebanking for Jessica Cisneros, running for Congress in TX-28. Bring your phone and laptop. Folks who are bilingual in Spanish and English are especially encouraged to join!
  • CAST Will be working on two activities this weekend, postcards to voters and calling or texting Swing Left Mainers! We're asking them to keep the pressure on Susan Collins to demand a fair and true impeachment trial. If that's not your thing, do you enjoy writing postcards, and reaching out to voters across the U.S. to get them to vote in special elections or sign up to vote by mail? Well we've got that too!

*Might phonebank? Please bring a cellphone, laptop and charger. A headset or pair of earphones is also helpful when calling voters or potential volunteers!*
