Activist Afternoons November 10

Start: Sunday, November 10, 2019 4:00 PM

End: Sunday, November 10, 2019 6:00 PM

Activist Afternoons is a way for all members of our community to gather and take action on the issues and elections we care about.

Thank you for being an awesome activist - we're inspiring others to take action!

Confirmed:

  • Swing Left Greater Boston Who Do You Know? Cultivating/Encouraging your contacts in Superstates to become activists. This workshop will give you tools to find who you know and encourage them to get active on the ground. Please meet upstairs in the glass conference room. Please bring a laptop and charger if you have one!
  • Swing Left Greater Boston is writing letters to yet-to-be-registered likely Democratic voters in the Swing Left Super States.
  • CAST and Swing Left Greater Boston are calling Louisiana voters on behalf of John Bel Edwards, the Democratic candidate for governor. This critical gubernatorial election is considered a tossup, and GOTV will make the difference. We will be calling voters who support John Bel Edwards to encourage them to vote on Nov. 16.
  • Driving Families Forward Coalition will be phone-banking to help undocumented Massachusetts residents obtain driver's licenses and drive to work and school without risk of arrest.

Not Yet Confirmed:

*Might phonebank? Please bring a cellphone, laptop and charger. A headset or pair of earphones is also helpful when calling voters or potential volunteers!*
