This year, members of DSA-LA overwhelmingly voted to ratify a local Democratic Socialist Program — a set of political commitments to build a strong basis for accountability for DSA-LA electeds and to stake out a clear, compelling vision for a Los Angeles the working class deserves.

On November 7th, join us for this outdoor, interactive educational event & social to:

• gain a strong foundation in the basis of municipal governance on the Westside (with attention to areas where specific Westside municipalities diverge from LA City);

• discuss and learn about past, successful municipal campaigns aligned with the Democratic Socialist Program (including Culver City’s recent passage of rent control and tenant protection measures); and

• socialize and meet nearby comrades! This family-friendly, in-person event will include time for socializing, food, and drinks.
