Labour will win the next General Election by default but they aren’t offering any solutions to the crises we’re facing. We can’t afford more of the same – the stakes are higher than ever. It seems like our political leaders have forgotten that science tells us we’re in the final years to take meaningful action against the climate crisis.

This election we’re doing everything we can to build our movement’s power, disrupt the status quo and put the Green New Deal back on the political agenda.

That’s why, as well as taking action up and down the country, we’re running a massive electoral operation in key battlegrounds seats to win them for Green New Deal Champion candidates.

These battlegrounds are key constituencies where we know our power and our generation can be the difference between a win for an inspiring candidate, and more of the same. By talking directly to voters - on doorsteps, high streets, online and on the phone - we can win and send more Champions to Parliament to fight for the Green New Deal.

Carla Denyer is the co-leader of the Green Party and she represents a new generation of leaders who are unafraid to challenge the status quo and fight for a better, fairer world. She understands that the climate crisis is not just an environmental issue—it’s a matter of social and economic justice

How are we gonna win these Battlegrounds?

We’re aiming to secure 5000 votes from young people in each of our seats. To do that we’ll all be heading out canvassing – talking directly to voters in the streets and by doorknocking to register them to vote, talk to them about the Green New Deal and get them on board to vote for our candidates.

We will be out there canvassing every single week from now till election day – and we need all of you to get involved.
