Join us on Thursday, March 24th at 7pm for a special evening presentation and conversation featuring Judy Dow, Winooski Abenaki educator and community leader, Executive Director of Gedakina, and a forest champion throughout the development of Vermont's Climate Action Plan. Judy will take us on an exploration of Abenaki perspectives on land and water relationships, and she will share insights from Vermont's Climate Action Plan process and how we can still weigh in to get Vermont off of dirty biomass electricity that is destroying our forests , endangering Abenaki cultural resources, and polluting our climate.
We will be using an open zoom meeting format to allow for greater community participation and interaction.
Don't miss out on this special event - RSVP today to receive the Zoom meeting link.
See you there!
