For the many of us who can only wish we were going to DC, this indoor progressive organizations fair on the same day as the Women's March will show us how easily and in how many ways we can translate our passion into effective action. It is crucial right now for us to stand together and speak out together in the defense of rights and values we hold dear and the hard-won progress we've achieved.

The Democratic Party of Anderson County is hosting, but the fair will be a non-partisan event. Participation by any of the organizations tabling does not imply endorsement of any political party or candidate. Tentatively, Planned Parenthood, Allies for Racial Equity, Moms Demand Action of East Tennessee, Sierra Club, Citizens Climate Coalition, Strong and United, NAACP, Tennessee Health Care Campaign, Centro Espano of Knoxville, and more will table. Numerous others are pending.

We hope to be live-streaming video of the historic Women's March on Washington as it happens. Refreshments and child care will be provided.
