Do you want to help shut down anti-abortion centers in our community? Join the NCTDSA Socialist Feminist Working Group (SocFem) this Saturday, December 14th from 2:00-5:00pm at RUMAH in downtown Raleigh to discuss how we can best fight against the harmful presence of Anti-Abortion Centers in our community. We'll kick things off with a short informational presentation but will then dive right into discussion, so come prepared with any thoughts and discussion questions you might have! If time allows we'll screen a short documentary about AACs and work on some crafts (buttons, shirts, signs, etc.) for use in our next picket of Gateway Women's Care, a fake clinic near NC State's campus.

Gateway is an anti-abortion center (also known as crisis pregnancy center) on Hillsborough St. An evangelical group that funds Gateway has described the center's purpose as transforming lives in "sexually broken and abortion minded communities" -- that must be us! Let's reclaim that phrase and show that fake clinics like Gateway have no place in our community.

NCTDSA and NC State YDSA have been picketing Gateway in an effort to get their landlords to not renew their lease (sign our petition if you haven't already!) The people of Raleigh deserve access to quality reproductive healthcare, not stigmatizing, misleading, and unregulated "care" provided by anti-abortion centers like Gateway.
