Anti Racism and Climate Justice Training

Start: Sunday, November 03, 2019 2:00 PM

End: Sunday, November 03, 2019 5:00 PM

In the struggle for climate justice it is crucial to centre the experiences of those who are disproportionately impacted by the climate crisis both in Ireland and the Global South. This requires bringing a strong anti racist analysis to our organising. This training will explore tools in anti oppressive organising and explore narratives within the environmental movement.

It will be delivered by Migrant and Ethnic Minorities for Reproductive Justice (MERJ). MERJ are a grassroots group of migrants and ethnic-minorities living in Ireland fighting for reproductive justice for all people, and have been heavily involved in campaigns for abortion rights and housing justice in Ireland in recent years.
