Anti-raids training

Start: Monday, July 15, 2024 6:15 PM

To build resilient communities we need to know how to look out for each other. We want to learn how to make use of the power we have to support those more vulnerable to authoritarian policing. On the 15th of July, Haringey Anti-raids Network will provide training on how we can support immigrant members of our community being targeted by 'hostile environment' law enforcement. The session will cover:

  • how to spot an immigration raid
  • what your rights are when stopped by immigration officers
  • how to resist immigration raids, both individually and collectively

As it's a full schedule for the evening, please arrive at 6pm so we can start training promptly at 6:30pm.

The last 20 mins will be dedicated to our regular Haringey XR agenda.
