⭐️ This year, Doncaster is the only local party across our region with principal authority local elections. It's an exciting time to be a Green in Doncaster as we work to break through as the first councillors on Doncaster Council - and we can't wait to welcome more of you onto this fantastic team. ⭐️

These Saturday action days are the best regular way to get involved with local Green Party members and campaigners.

There is power in engaging with our local community and we would love you to be a part of it too.

Join us on Saturday 26th April - your help will make a real difference.

Meeting Point AM and PM: Tony's house, 12 Halmshaw Terrace, Bentley, Doncaster, DN5 0BD

Morning session - 10.30am meet then out door knocking and delivering leaflets

Lunch break - 12.30pm - 1.30pm (Vegan food and refreshments provided)

Afternoon session - 1.30pm meet then out door knocking and delivering leaflets

What will we be doing?
We'll be focusing on door knocking across Roman Ridge ward. We know that those interactions with voters are so impactful and are key to getting Greens elected.

We'll also have our next leaflet available to deliver. Regular literature is another vital way to keep in touch with residents and make sure people are aware that Green Party campaigners are working hard all year round for them!

Timings
Please try to arrive on time for either the morning session at 10.30am or the afternoon session at 1.30pm.

Call Tony on 07954 006918 if you are arriving at another time so that he can let you know how to join up with the team.

The Action Day is expected to finish at 3.30pm.

Travel
Closest train station is Bentley.

It's only a 5 minute walk/wheel from Bentley Train Station to Tony's house (meeting point). Call/text Tony on 07954 006918 if you need more information on public transport connections etc.

New to door knocking?
If you've not been to an action day before, we try our best to be a friendly bunch and make sure you're very well looked after! Door knocking training is provided on the day, you'll get the opportunity to practice before you head out, and we'll make sure you're paired with someone who's door knocked before so you can learn from them.

Clothing and appearance
Please do check the weather forecast before travelling. You may like to bring a waterproof coat and umbrella if it's raining, extra warm clothes if it's cold, or a hat and sun cream if it's hot! (wishful thinking!).

Otherwise please come dressed smart casually without badges, rosettes or any other branding. We won't judge you, but our voters, who we have to persuade to vote Green to get Tony and Paul elected, will!
