April 29 Day of Action - Liberty Bell Allentown
Start: Thursday, April 29, 2021•12:00 PM
Ring the Bell for Liberty! We will gather at the Liberty Bell Museum at the Historic Zion's United Church of Christ for a brief speech, followed by each of us ringing the bell. Afterwards, weather-permitting, we will take a stroll on the Arts Walk. AND we could picnic in the sweet Pocket Park, located right at Church St and ArtsWalk. There are limited chairs and benches available first-come, first-serve, so if you want to stay outside, you might want to bring a chair. You can pack your own lunch, or there are some excellent choices for food, you could even pre-order for pickup at the vendors in the market (Merchants « Downtown Allentown Market), or go to Frutta Bowls or Radish Republic. Parking is available at 603 Linden St Garage, 628 Linden, 13 S 6th St, or 615 W Walnut St. Masks are required and social distancing inside the museum will be enforced. We might have to take turns entering the room with the bell. FDPA will have masks and tshirts available.
