JOIN US IN MAKING ART THAT WILL BE USED TO PROTEST BANK OF AMERICA AT THE CHICAGO MARATHON ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8TH.

DID YOU KNOW THAT BANK OF AMERICA IS THE 4TH LARGEST FUNDER OF FOSSIL FUELS IN THE WORLD?

Bank of America, sponsor of the Chicago Marathon, has invested $279 Billion in climate destabilizing fossil fuels since the 2016 Paris Climate Accord.

Bank of America is sponsoring this marathon while at the same time profiting from financing fossil fuel infrastructure, which causes more forest fires, smoke and extreme heat. These investments made running and even just going outside a health risk this summer!

Additionally, Bank of America also funds the Atlanta Police Foundation, which is currently destroying the Weelaunee Forest in Atlanta to build Cop City, a facility to train police in urban warfare. Land defenders in Atlanta have been criminalized for using their first amendment rights to protest this project. One land defender, Tortuguita, was murdered by Georgia State Police as they sat in their tent in the forest.

Don't let Bank of America continue to hide its involvement in destroying forests, funding climate change, and supporting the murder and criminalization of land defenders.
