Join our strike for the climate! Augustana University students will be striking on campus to pressure our university as well as the city of Sioux Falls to respond to the climate crisis. Augustana University and Sioux Falls are beginning to think in the right direction toward better stewardship of the planet, but the response is far too slow and too little. Our world is in crisis now, and a place as resource-filled, educated, and impactful as our university has a responsibility to be at the forward edge of the fight for our environment. Come gather with us to push for sustainably-sourced food, improved recycling and composting, and more efficient energy usage for Augustana and Sioux Falls. There will be a giveaway and chances to meet like-minded people who care about the environment. This event is free and open to anyone who is passionate about preserving our planet!
