We are restaurant, hospitality and service industry workers, the unemployed, and their allies. The pandemic is getting worse, not better. Our industry is unsafe and not coming back. Many of us don’t have insurance or savings because our jobs were already precarious. Now, the CEOs and billionaires want to take away our only lifeline. They’re telling Congress to let our $600 federal unemployment benefits expire. They don’t care if we live or die, so long as they make a profit. It's time that we, the workers, unite to build the power necessary to have our basic needs met!
