Host Guidelines - Voting Rights Act Vigils

Thanks for signing up to host a VRA Vigil!

The first step is to pick a time and location.

For the location, we're recommending somewhere outside and public, potentially outside of your representative's office or in a public park.

For a time, we're recommending around 8 PM local time.

Once you pin down a time and location, create an event on Action Network and you'll get access to our host guide and other materials and support that can help you plan your event!

The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
URL of where attendees can attend the virtual event, such as a Zoom link. This will only be shown to event attendees via email after RSVPing.
