Calling all RISE for Youth Supporters!

Our Senate Finance and House Appropriations Public Safety Subcommittees are considering proposals to re-purpose the Beaumont juvenile correctional center property. To ensure the property is used to benefit the state and the local community in ways that do not include corrections, we ask you to reach out to the committee members urging them to adopt budget provisions that transfer the land to Powhatan State Park and re-purposes the facility for economic development uses that will benefit the local community.

We are asking All RISE Coalition members and supporters to call and email their money committee legislators and let them know that you support the use of Beaumont property for state conservation, recreation and local community economic development purposes!
