We will be striking in front of Beaverton City Hall (The Beaverton Building) to show our leaders that people care about the climate crisis not only in Portland but in the surrounding cities as well. We want to let Beaverton City Officials know that climate change is a serious threat that needs to be addressed immediately and with swift and sweeping action and that we want the forthcoming Beaverton Climate Action Plan to be binding, not aspirational.To attend the Portland Strikes plan to take the Blue Max line from our strike at 9:55, that will get you to Portland City Hall at 10:29 in time for the Portland rally.This rally is being organized by the newly formed Sunrise Beaverton hub.
