Let’s reclaim the streets! No more business as usual in a climate emergency. Bicycles are part of the solution

We are asking the cycling race Tour Down Under to DUMP SANTOS sponsorship. Our governments and institutions must cut ties with fossil fuels: there will be no sport on a dead planet.

This event is designed to be fun and family friendly. We may slow traffic but will not be disruptive. Feel free to come in costume and decorate your bike. Bring signs and flags, and we will have some to share.

Cyclists of all skill levels are welcome. Bring along your family and cycling friends. There will be a shorter route for walkers to parade along Braddon footpaths with the Discobedience dance crew.

Please remember to bring your bike helmets.

Meet at 10am sharp in Haig Park, Braddon for a briefing. The ride will end at Glebe Park where the XR ACT Discobedience dancers will be grooving and teaching the moves.
