Community Alliance with Family Farmers invites you to a free, in-person event on Biologically Integrated Orchard Systems (BIOS), covering a variety of IPM strategies in walnuts for major pests. Topics may include:
- IPM options for walnut pests including navel orangeworm, codling moth, spider mites, and husk fly
- Cover cropping for beneficials as a method of pest control
- Bird habitat for effective pest management in walnuts
