Community Alliance with Family Farmers invites you to a free, in-person event on Biologically Integrated Orchard Systems (BIOS), with a focus on beneficial predators for pest control in walnuts. Topics will include:

- Predatory mite release demonstration using a custom backpack blower

- Application of predator attractants

- Maximizing the potential of your cover crops as predatory insect habitat

- Demonstration of an Unruh roller crimper for cover crop management

Event Location

Daniel Unruh's farm can be found closest to the intersection of CA-45 & Dodge Rd, CA 95932.

If traveling north on CA-45, just before the intersection of CA-45 and Dodge Rd, turn right (east) onto the private drive (Southam Rd) and follow signs to the ranch on the left side of the road.

If traveling south on CA-45, just past the intersection of CA-45 and Dodge Rd, turn left (east) onto the private drive (Southam Rd) and follow signs to the ranch on the left side of the road.
