This very special event is one you won't want to miss, giving a platform to the trailblazing women in Green politics and offering excellent opportunities to expand your network.

Please note that while the purpose of the conference is to spotlight and celebrate women, the event is open to people of all gender identities as well as non-members of the Green Party.

Breaking Barriers: Women Leading the Way in Green Politics – Conference (FREE!)
5pm - 7:30pm, All Good Bookshop

The first half of the evening is a free conference featuring speeches and panels by inspiring women and NB from across the Green Party.

After an initial networking reception, we'll hear speeches from leading elected Greens including Ekua Bayunu (Deputy Leader of the Green Group, Manchester City Council), Jo Bird (Co-Leader of the Green Group, Wirral Council, joining virtually) and Ria Patel (Green Equalities & Diversity spokesperson, Croydon Council).

There will be ample opportunity for attendees to ask their questions to our guests, with half an hour allotted for an interactive panel discussion.

In summary, here is an itinerary for the conference:

• 5pm-5:30pm: Welcome and networking reception
• 5:30pm-5:45pm: Opening remarks
• 5:45pm-6:30pm: Dynamic Perspectives: Speeches from Green Party leaders
• 6:30pm-7pm: Inclusive Dialogue: Panel Discussion
• 7pm-7:10pm: Closing remarks and call to action
• 7:10pm-7:30pm: Informal networking and farewell

Breaking Barriers: Fundraising Dinner (£10 + £10 recommended donation)
7:30pm-10pm, Puraan Restaurant N8 0PT (near to conference venue)

After closing remarks, those who wish to continue can purchase entry to a fundraising dinner at a local Indian restaurant near to the conference venue.

Attendees can opt to cover only the cost of their food if desired, although Haringey Green Party (HGP) would greatly appreciate any donations with three major elections just around the corner. Payments will be made on the event's date via bank transfer or cash. The dinner includes a three-course vegetarian meal.

Whatever you can spare would be a huge help to our upcoming campaigns. A printed QR code with a link for one-time or recurring donations to HGP will also be available at both events.

Dinner will be served after sunset for attendees observing Ramadan.
