Bus from Birmingham, AL to DC - $150 a ticket, travel scholarships available

Stand Against Poverty, Mass Rally & Moral Revival in Washington, D.C. on June 23
On Saturday, June 23 we will be headed to the US Capitol for a mass rally in Washington, D.C. to stand against poverty.
We will leave from the Greater Birmingham Ministries office at 2304 12th Ave. N. Birmingham, AL at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22nd, stay the night near Washington, DC and return home following the march and rally arriving in the early morning on Sunday, June 24th.
Bus tickets cost $150.00. Donations are appreciated to help us cover travel scholarships. Please let us know if you need a partial or full travel scholarship.
There will be a group carpooling from Montgomery to get on the bus.

In the face of systemic racism, systemic poverty, ecological devastation, war economy/militarism, and distorted moral narrative of religious nationalism— We must engage in mass nonviolent moral direct action. We must have mass voter registration and mobilization. And we must engage in mass power building in poor and low wealth communities declaring We Won't Be Silent Anymore!!!!!
