The California Assembly’s Select Committee on Universal Healthcare has met twice since it was established by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon a few months ago. In both occasions, they did not discuss SB 562. It is clear that this Committee is an act to stall actual progress on passing single payer healthcare.

We're turning up the heat on members of the Select Committee to make sure they hear from their constituents. Join us on Sunday, January 14th 2018 in Assemblymember and Select Committee Co-Chair Jim Wood's district in Ukiah to talk to our neighbors about what Medicare-for-All could do for their lives and ask for their support.
