Join this webinar to find out how you can campaign for an end to Drax’s climate-wrecking tree burning as we head towards the general election.

With the General Election on the 4th of July, people across the country will head to the polls to vote for their future MPs. It is vital that we use this moment to call on our parliamentary candidates to take immediate action on the climate and nature crises by ending subsidies for the UK's single largest carbon emitter and the world's biggest tree burner, Drax.

Please join Biofuelwatch, Stop Burning Trees and Hope for the Future at 12pm on Thursday 6th June to discuss how we can win commitments from our future decision makers, so that whoever wins the next election, the next Government will deliver policies that protect forests, wildlife, communities and the climate from Drax’s tree burning.

We’ll hear how we can take action ahead of the general election to call on our parliamentary candidates to learn about the harmful impacts of the biomass industry, and pledge to end subsidies for burning trees at Drax and Lynemouth power stations.

Who are Hope for the Future?
