Join us on Friday, December 6th in a candlelight vigil for climate justice. The fight for our future has only just begun, and we need your help! This action will happen alongside the young people around the world who have been rising up to defend our future, and have been going on strike – every week, all over the planet – for months. Through this international coalition, Sunrise Hubs all over the country will be striking and holding unique actions for a Green New Deal. In Burlington, this will look like a candlelight ceremony outside of Senator Leahy's office on Main St.

After Sunrise Burlington hub members meet with Senator Leahy to ask him once again to support the GND, we will meet outside of his office in a candlelight vigil. All are welcome!

This will be a space for our community to share stories about the way climate change is already impacting our lives, a place to celebrate our hopes of a better future, and a time to pressure our senator to use his political agency to fight for our future and support the Green New Deal!
