The First Amendment is under attack....Freedom of religion, free speech, free press and the right to peacefully assemble. We gather to mourn and eulogize the attacks on our First Amendment rights and the impending death of democracy if they succeed.

The First Amendment to the Constitution of the US says,
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Please wear all black for this event, we will provide the candles for this event and signs. We will put masking tape over our mouths, we will provide this too. Please come prepared to stand for about an hour in our silent protest vigil. We will be on the three corners of ISB and Beach Street, bricked area. We will also have luminaries to light us up.
