Join the DSA Brooklyn Housing Working Group for a tenants' rights canvass in Crown Heights! We'll be talking to our neighbors about how tenants can organize to enforce the new rent laws, and inviting them to an upcoming DSA tenants' rights workshop.

No canvassing experience is required, and training will be provided. Afterward we'll head to a nearby bar for drinks and socializing.

In June, the tenant movement won New York's strongest rent laws in decades. But our fight is far from over. Landlords are already retaliating by withholding repairs and warehousing apartments, and we have to work together to defend our rights and organize for even bigger victories in the future.
