We have been talking to voters over the last few weeks about the forthcoming general election and have received an amazingly positive response from the public. So good in fact that we are going to step up the campaign. With Oliver Heald not standing and a Reform candidate to split the right-wing vote, we actually think the Greens have a chance in North East Herts. If we work hard, it could be Green vs Labour here, despite being a Tory stronghold for many years. Just imagine how it would feel to pull off a shock win, it would be a political earthquake!

So, we need your help. Every week in May we are going to be canvassing in a different location across the constituency. We start each session in a cafe, fuel up on coffee and cake, then we’re off!

If you’d like to join us for the May canvassing sessions – and we’d love it if you did, these are the dates:

• Fri 3rd May 9:30am – Baldock – meet at Cafe Luna – SG7 6BG
• Thurs 16th May 9:30am – Royston – meet at Banyers Hotel – SG8 7BZ
• Wed 22nd May 9:30am – Royston – meet at Kooky Nomad Cafe – SG8 9AG
• Tues 28th May 9.30am – Letchworth – meet at Miss Green Fingers Cafe – SG6 3DE

As we move towards the election we’ll be adding more dates, so don’t worry if you can’t make these.
