Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has a world wide reputation of an unrelenting fighter for social justice for all. As a result of his leadership and participation in the civil rights movement, more than 200 pieces of public policy was initiated, all of which was directed to improve the quality of life and the evolution of the beloved community. A panel discussion by a historian, an activist and a civil rights attorney will inform the participants of the historical antecedents, contemporary activism, and the legal struggles in the courtroom to secure access to the ballot box.
