Join Central branch leaders, organizers, and new members for our first branch-wide meeting of 2022 to talk about our path to winning our socialist campaigns in Central LA, and make strategic decisions for the road ahead! Comrades from all Central neighborhoods are invited to this outdoor, in-person meeting at a park to be announced soon.

The agenda will be focused on strategic planning for DSA-LA’s campaigns for 2022 — including Hugo for City Council, Universal Childcare and the Green New Deal for Public Schools — including dedicated time for large group discussion and small group, neighborhood-specific discussion to talk about the priorities for our branch as we plan our work implementing these various campaigns, and decide on some concrete steps to move us forward. We’ll also carve out some time just to hang out and get to know our socialist neighbors across Central LA!

Location Note: The parking for Picnic Area 6 is directly across from Grace E. Simons Lodge. There is plentiful parking on the road into the picnic area and in the lot adjacent from the Lodge. A map of the location is included below if you need additional assistance.
