Charting Our Climate Future: What do climate negotiations actually achieve?

Start: Wednesday, December 06, 2023 6:30 PM

End: Wednesday, December 06, 2023 8:30 PM

We are honoured to have Professor James Dyke come to Plymouth to talk to us in this interactive event, on the occasion of COP28, organised in collaboration with Plymouth Global, where we will have to opportunity to explore what COPs on climate change actually do!

The event:

  • Prof Dyke will critically examine the role of the COP meetings in galvanising international action on the climate crisis.
  • Three local panellists will then respond to his points.
  • After a short break for (free!) refreshments, we will reconvene for a Question and Answer session and public discussion with the audience.

This should be a fascinating and informative session with a climate expert who is engaging and accessible.

This event is free, but places are limited, and booking is highly recommended.
