Now through July 5, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is accepting "scoping" comments from the public about SSEP via docket PF24-2-000, to help FERC determine what should be included in their environmental assessment of the pipeline.

An in-person scoping meeting, hosted by FERC will be on June 25, from 5-7pm at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex, 19783 US-29 Chatham, VA 24531.

This is an important opportunity to give public input about the waterways, soil, farmland, heritage sites etc. that you are concerned about.
