This is an interactive community event that begins with a conversation between physicians and faith leaders. The conversation will focus on the deprivations children in immigration detention face, that begins with the conditions from which they flee, the harrowing journey towards the specter of freedom that follows, and the devastation of incarceration or deportation. People of good conscience gathered in the audience will break into groups for discussion about the issues and to explore ways to take action.
