CIVC - Feb 11 - Monthly Meeting

Start: Saturday, February 11, 2017 3:00 PM

CIVC is more than just a place to vent frustrations and complain – we are an organization for change; an Action Group to make a difference in the local, state, and federal levels. Our group will create action plans and provide education and resources, both online and in person, to assist in getting the Trump resistance message out.

Come prepared to make plans for action and meet others who are working to resist Trump's agenda. We’ll be planning next steps to encourage our Members of Congress in Senate and House to represent us, not Trump. If we stand together, indivisible, we will win. Welcome to the resistance!

This meeting is a pot-luck style gathering.   We decided on a pot-luck style meeting because food tends to bring people together, makes everyone feel cozy, and who doesn't love eating something someone else made! We will have wine, beer, tea (iced & hot), coffee (caffeinated & decaf), hot chocolate, water, and flavored seltzer waters for everyone. We aren't soda drinkers so if you prefer soda, please be sure and bring along what you prefer.

When you arrive at 132 Franklin Street, you will see the brick church with a bell tower and a large parking lot. There will be white racing trailers in the parking lot. Pull past them and you’ll see other parking spaces and another brick building. Park in any of the open parking spaces you see. We’ll have someone helping with parking.

Ring the door bell at the first door you drove past - the one closest to the rocks/retaining wall. There will be a sign on the door letting you know which door to enter.
