This is a virtual event

You are invited to this first workshop in our 2021 Climate Advocacy series, hosted by the Climate Reality Project King County Chapter Policy & Advocacy team! Our goal with this series is to educate and support chapter members + invited guests who want to take their climate advocacy action journey to the next level. These workshops will provide a supportive environment to learn from experts and each other, ask questions, and work on truly impactful actions.

For this first workshop, we are going to focus on how to engage in climate conversation in everyday life. Something we can all do! During the session will be providing structure, best practices, and guided hands-on time to start preparing for these conversations. We aim for all participants to be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of climate action at this moment

  • Distinguish the impacts of corporate v. individual action

  • Feel better prepared for climate conversations in everyday life

  • Identify the best ways to uniquely contribute to the climate fight

We believe that learning and working together with other motivated individuals is our best bet to making a positive impact in the climate fight, and are looking forward to collaborating with you all!
