Last year, the Act On Climate made history by making Rhode Island’s goals to slow down climate change mandatory and in line with the latest science. Now RI is creating a plan to meet its new 2030 mandate to reduce climate-warming emissions by 45% by 2030 - and your voice is needed!

Join experts to learn how you can influence the state's developing climate plan and participate in other important public meetings. We’ll teach you the skills you need to deliver effective comments and let you know where your participation will make the biggest impact to help Rhode Island transition away from fossil fuels.

Presenters include:

  • Dawn King, Brown University
  • Carrie Gill, RI Office of Energy Resources
  • Hank Webster, Acadia Center
