Climate Crisis and US Militarism: We're now all too familiar with the impacts of our changing climate: extreme weather events, wildfires and floods, crop failures, and climate anxiety. But we may not be so familiar with the contribution of the U.S. military - which each year consumes more than 60% of our federal discretionary budget - to the accelerating climate crisis. Veterans For Peace offers a 20-minute slideshow presentation on this Elephant in the Room, unmentioned by most climate action groups, and more importantly, what we can do about it.
