CCAN Action Fund and the Rebuild Maryland Coalition are cohosting a virtual lobby day in support of the Climate Crisis and Education Act (CCEA).

The CCEA would establish two types of fossil fuel fees, charged at point of entry into Maryland, that include a polluter pays, no-pass through provision. It would also contribute to three separate funds for education, green infrastructure, and household and employer benefits: The Kirwan Fund, The Climate Crisis and Infrastructure Fund, and The Household and Employer Benefit Fund.
