Indianapolis - Global Day of Climate Action
Start: Friday, September 25, 2020•11:00 AM
End: Friday, September 25, 2020• 3:00 PM
The school strike movement is calling for another Global Day of Climate
Action across the world, including here in Indianapolis. We want to
answer the young people’s call and ensure lives of opportunity for them
and generations to come.
In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, we will rise for
social and environmental justice on Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. Join us as
we stand up for a just transition to an equitable, sustainable and safe
future.
We invite people from Indianapolis and across Indiana to join us for an
in-person, peaceful protest and a show of solidarity with and for our
children and communities of color.
Let's demand urgent action from decision-makers to solve the climate emergency in our city, our state, our country and the world. Let’s hold our elected officials accountable. Let's make this the day humanity changes its trajectory and leads the whole biosphere on a path to sustainability.
