In this movement we talk a lot about justice - climate justice, economic justice, migrant justice, global justice. It's important that we all share an understanding of what climate justice means, what causes climate injustice, and what solutions tackle the roots of the problem.

It's a huge topic! And we're not experts - but we want to share the basics so that as many of us as possible are on the same page. We'll touch on:

• The historical context for what we mean by climate justice by looking at who is responsible for the climate crisis and the systems of exploitation that have created an extremely unequal world.

• How climate injustice is playing out in our communities and globally right now

• How the Green New Deal is centred around justice

• Why our movement mustn’t repeat the mistakes of the past and how we can do things differently
