Climate Justice = No Borders

Start: 2020-10-13 18:30:00 UTC Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna (GMT+01:00)

This is a virtual event

** If you had not yet signed up to join the webinar, you can watch the live-stream on the Climate Camp Scotland Facebook page**

Join speakers in conversation about climate justice and migrant rights. How are these two topics linked? What is the situation in Scotland and Europe for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers? How can the climate movement act in solidarity with migrants? Why does climate justice mean no borders? We'll be hearing from campaigners and organisers working on the front lines of this issue.

This webinar aims to raise money for Migrants Organising For Rights and Empowerment (MORE), a Glasgow based group run by people with experience of migration. They offer direct support to people, for example in offering access to culturally appropriate food or data top ups for keeping in touch with family and support workers. All money raised goes directly to MORE.

This event is Pay What You Can, please donate in advance of the session through our fundraiser. Doing so respects the labour of those telling their stories for our education.
