With the consequences of climate change becoming ever more clear and dire with each passing day, a new powerful wave of the climate movement has been swelling up over the last couple of years. Young people around the world have been rising up to defend our future, and have been going on strike – every week, all over the planet – for months. In the September Climate Strikes alone, 7.6 million people took to the streets with us.

But our movement isn't going anywhere. Now, we are preparing for the next wave of Climate Strikes.

THE TIME TO STRIKE IS NOW!

The September 20th Climate Strike was the largest day of action for climate justice, EVER!

On December 6th, as world leaders gather at the UN's annual climate conference, people across the USA, including every Sunrise Movement Hub, will join a national Climate Strike to take the momentum from September to our elected officials.

We'll be blunt: the planet is dying, shortsighted politicians are doing nothing, and we need your help. We can all make a HUGE difference but only if we make a stand TOGETHER!

Vancouver, and the larger Clark County area, has a powerful and unique voice, and that voice needs to be heard, ringing out so loud it cannot be ignored! When we work together there is absolutely everything we can accomplish. We want a GREEN NEW DEAL right here in our awesome community and we can't accomplish making this happen with without you!

So come, raise your voice with us! Come take a stand. Come sing at the top of your lungs and join the most meaningful fight of our lives! Because if you aren't willing to fight for our future, for our very *survival*, then what on earth are you willing to fight for?
