Join our funeral procession and memorial ceremony for the salmon who once ran the waters of our Salem creeks, and who are now facing global extinction. Bring your prayers, songs, instruments, flowers, and pictures for a time of remembrance,m healing and gathering strength. Meet at Wallace Marine Park for the funeral procession over the bike/pedestrian bridge or come directly to Riverfront Park to participate in the memorial ceremony. On September 24 we will demonstrate outside Chase Bank in West Salem to demand that Chase stop financing fossil fuel companies and projects,m including the Jordan Cove LNG terminal and pipeline in Oregon. The Chase Bank event starts at 4:00 pm at Glen Creek Rd. NW and Wallace Rd. NW Salem
