Extinction Rebellion Derby is offering a day trip to the March in London, assembling at 1pm and starting to march at 2pm. This will be a brilliant day out. A chance to come together and unite in protest against the continuing destruction of the world we all depend on. Our drummers will be going. We welcome families and individuals to join us and enjoy the cameraderie of a joyful coachful of like-minded people, finally able to express their frustration after months of disappointment in our political and business leaders.  We invite anyone and everyone of any background and any belief who feels the urge to join us and take to the streets in solidarity.

YOUNG PEOPLE AGED UNDER 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT

Pickup 1: 8.00am Chesterfield Visitor Information Centre, Rykneld Square, Chesterfield S40 1SB
Pickup 2: 9.00am Outside Premier Inn, Full Street, Derby DE1 3AF
Pickup 3: 10.00am St. Margaret's Bus Station, Gravel St, Leicester LE1 3AG

The coach will drop off near Wembley Park tube station from which we can get a tube to the march.

Return: Coach picks up in Wembley Park at 5pm and will have us home to Leicester around 7pm, Derby around 8pm and Chesterfield around 8.45pm.

This trip is suitable for people who are going to go one way and remain in London BUT WE WILL NEED TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE ON THE DAY. This is to ensure we know that everyone who wants to get home on the day, does so!

Please bring with you

• Money in cash to donate towards the cost of the coach - we need about £20 per person to pay for the coach (if it is full). You can keep the cost from going up if you get more people to come.  This will not be refundable.  Please give more if you are well paid, or less if you have a low income :)
• Money or card for the Tube
• Suitable warm clothing to spend all day outside
• A packed meal for the journey home (you are likely to be able to leave this in the coach)
• At least a snack for lunch time - in case the free stalls are running short. If you intend to eat from the stalls, please bring a bowl and cutlery.

By signing up to this coach trip you are agreeing to maintain the discipline of peacefulness and to remain non-violent throughout the day including both journeys.

By booking on this page you are also agreeing to pay £20 per person if the coach trip cannot go ahead. Extinction Rebellion Derby must pay the full booking fee so near to the date of the trip. Thank you for your understanding.
