Join us for a meeting presented by Fair Districts PA (FDPA) to learn about gerrymandering*, how it has shaped Pennsylvania’s Federal Legislative districts and your representation by Congress, and what you can do to influence change.

FDPA is a nonpartisan, statewide coalition of individuals and organizations working to ensure Pennsylvania’s redistricting process is transparent, impartial and fair. Their goal is to secure the adoption of an amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution replacing the current partisan system of redistricting with an independent, impartial citizens redistricting commission before the 2020 U.S. Census.

*Gerrymandering is the practice of dividing a geographic area into representative districts in a way that gives unfair political advantage to one party or group in an election. After an informational presentation, there will be a Q&A period, as well as time to meet with Fair Districts PA volunteers to learn more about the organization.
