Colorado Educator Day of Action

Start: Friday, April 27, 2018 9:00 AM

COME JOIN US!

The enthusiastic crowd of five hundred educators on April 16 at the Capitol has inspired more teachers and school support staff to take action. The Colorado Education Association is expecting thousands to descend on the Capitol, April 27th, as lawmakers decide the fate of the K-12 budget and PERA.

Educators, parents and community members will call on the legislature to make decisions that prioritize public education and education funding. We have great public schools in Colorado, but in too many communities we are not giving schools the resources they need for every child to succeed. To be sure that we can attract and retain high quality educators to Colorado, we must prioritize education funding so that educators can support their families and contribute to our communities and our children can reach their full potential.

Come join us on Friday, April 27 at 9am at the Civic Center Amphitheater to tell our legislators that PUBLIC EDUCATION IS A PRIORITY.

Planned Agenda:
9:00am: Civic Center Amphitheater Kick Off
10:00am – 12:00pm: Lobby at the State Capitol
12:00pm: Lunch in the Park
1:30pm – 3:00pm: Rally and March on the west steps of the State Capitol

Don't forget to wear RED FOR PUBLIC ED!!!

Let's fight to improve education funding, and tell legislators it's time they put our students first and not last
