On Monday May 20th, Con Edison’s shareholders will meet to make important decisions about our energy system as decisions about our energy system are generally made: behind closed doors, without any input from the public, communities, or workers who will be most affected by the consequences.

Join NYC DSA’s Ecosocialist Working Group for an informational picket in front of Con Edison’s headquarters on Monday May 20th. We will meet at the Southeast corner of Union Square at 8:45 AM and then march over to Con Ed headquarters at 9:00 AM. We will picket as shareholders enter the building to demand democratic control over our major energy systems and resources.
